Using DoubtFree is simple, fast, and it gives me such control over how and when people see my images... I wouldn't have my pictures on the internet without it.

All I did was get in touch with a DoubtFree rep, via email, then sent them a few images. Within a day I had a dedicated link (www.doubtfree.com/example.html) that I could send anyone to. That site I'll leave up indefinitely... and since only those I authorize to view it have the link, no one can simply track me down by flipping through pages on a website like MySpace.

Then there are the disappearing links included in DoubtFree's set-up fee... you get ten links that you can make "disappear at any time. And the note people see when they get there is friendly and polite. If someone wants to view my pictures again they have to contact me. I've found no better way to gain control of my images. When I would respond to online personal ads, people had always assumed I was an unattractive guy because I refused to send my picture out. The thing is, at work , if people knew I was involved in the internet-dating scene I'd be laughed out of the office. With DoubtFree I send a coded link to someone I think I might like, and they can take a look at me without the world being able to see it. And the best part is, whenever I want, I can make the link go to a DoubtFree default page. That way if someone I happened to work with were to see it, there'd be no way for them to send the link on to others so they could see it as well. It really does give me peace of mind, and it's been well worth the investment.

For me, DoubtFree has been a Godsend. As someone whose image is her career (and vice versa) I was always afraid of someone using my pictures as their own, or saving them to put them up on some sleazy site... that's happening a lot these days. At DoubtFree there's no way to save a picture by right-clicking on it... as you can on most sites -- and the fact that I can take a given slideshow down at any time is incredible. There's no way for people to search through DoubtFree's clients, or browse... all the links are anonymously coded.
